My IVA would be 3 years old in May, but it was completed with a F&F late last year. But to be honest the NatWest adviser really didn't seem interested in the IVA, he understood I wouldn't pass a credit check and was happy to over-ride their system to upgrade my account .... but as I said before the ...

Hi, Like a lot of people in an IVA I have a basic Step account with NatWest, and I have been fairly pee'd by their change of rules when it comes to using cash machines. Today I was in the branch and whilst the cashier was dealing with me she asked if I'd ever considered upgrading my account. I quiet...

As many of you know I settled my IVA with a f&f late last year, I have my certifcate and have come off the register. Today I got a call from Ideal Debt Solutions apologising that they had rejected my IVA proposal and would I like to try again ???? When I politely explained I had never heard of their...

Having read many posts about this VAT issue, I have to say I still don't really understand it all. But it seems to me to be very unfair that some IPs are closing cases whilst others are not. I was very lucky, I made a f&f payment in September last year, I received my certificate within abiut 3 weeks...

I had the same thing with Kiwk Fit last year, massive increase but cheaper deals on the comparison sites. So I rang them up and asked why it was, they said its cos they used different underwriters ?? If it helps any I went to Tescos, very cheap insurance and no credit check .... so no problems with ...

Even though my IVA is now complete, thanks to a Full and Final funded by redundancy, this morning I got a statement/bill from Bank of Scotland saying I was late with February's payment. My f&f was accepted in September and I received my completion certificate in November. I really dont want to start...

Hi Hopeful71, I was made redundant last summer and was just over 2 years into my IVA. My full and final payment was the calculated on the balance I had left to pay, presuming my payments stayed the same til the end. Although a big chunk of my redundancy went to my creditors the relief was amazing ! ...

Bank of Scotland and Nationwide were the worst for me. Bank of Scotland called constantly everyday and were very agressive in trying to get money out of me, they had me in tears several times. I had my current account with Nationwide with a large-ish overdraft, they were very quick in trying to issu...

Thanks everyone, it really is a good feeling. I was a bit disappointed that its just a bit of paper, I sort of knew what to expect from other forum members but I hoped it was a brightly coloured bling bling certificate ! lol

Hi all, My full and final offer was excepted and paid in September and today I received my Notice of Completion ..... although its not as grand as I thought it would be, I'm very pleased to have it ! The only downside is my name is still on the Insolvancy Register, how long before it comes off ?? On...

Hi sonj77, I recently took voluntary redundancy, at the time I was 2 and a bit years into my IVA. I was able to offer a full and final out of my substantial payout. To put your mind at rest there was no issue because it was voluntary. For me it worked out really well and I hope it does for you as we...
