Hi bulldog
Yes I think you have been unlucky there, I have been in my IVA for two years and have always had the same relationship manager.
Apart from the issue I posted about, I can honestly say I have never had any problems with FJ and I hope you have the same experience as me!

Hi Kallis thanks for your reply.
It's really bad customer service, I can only think they have a back log of post etc, but given that it's happened before it doesnt fill me with great confidence.
I know theres a poster for Freeman Jones so i'm hoping that they will pick this up.

Hi everyone, Not posted on here for quite some time, but still do check in every so often. Just a quick one, my second annual review was due, I sent off all relevant paperwork etc only to receive a letter from Freeman Jones saying they hadn't received any of it! Then a couple of days later i receive...

Hi and welcome from me also.
Lloyds TSB also had the majority of my debt with a loan, overdraft and credit card.
They voted in favour of my IVA and I was lucky as they never really bothered me with letters, phonecalls etc.
Wishing you well on your journey.

Hi st75, I was exactly the same as you, 6 months after my IVA was approved I was sent a statement from the Halifax (one of my creditors aswell) It's really nothing to worry about, I forwarded mine onto my IP and have heard nothing since. I think you are right though, it's pretty normal to receive st...

This is a brilliant forum :-) I've never ever posted on a forum before so this is a real first for me! I browsed around for a good few months before I actually joined, and I have learnt so much from everyone on here, the information and advice really is second to none, and in those early few months ...

Hi Susie, I also am with the Natwest and have their basic Step bank account. I was with my previous bank for 20+ years, I understand what a pain it is having to change everything over etc, but it really was a smooth process for me with the Natwest. They did ask me if I was in an IVA and I was honest...

It's difficult to be strong when they are offering it on a plate, I think that's part of our culture also, we all want more.... My experience with the Marks and Spencer credit card was very similar, every 6 months or so they would up my credit limit by £200-300 and by that time I was in debt but bur...

Hi, I received one of these letters when my debt from a Dorothy Perkins store card was sold onto them, my letter was exactly the same wording as yours. There's nothing at all to worry about, all I did with the letter was forward it onto my IP and I never heard from them again! It's a standard letter...
