I would assume they discussed the option of a joint IVA with yourself and your wife from the outset? If for whatever reason she declined to be involved in the IVA, then your IVA provider knew full well that she would have to service the debts herself and no doubt with the evidence you provided befor...

Hi You're correct in that you're joint creditors will be able to pursue your wife as you have joint and several liability. If I were drafting that case, I would have built in an allowance into your monthly budget for her to service her own debts - sounds like this didn't happen though. I'd be having...

If you are not being directly charged for an assessment to get you a cheaper deal, then yes it is free to you. Of course, like any comparison company, Money Mayday will take a commission, that's the nature of their business, but that doesn't mean they are needlessly victimising IVA clients. Of cours...

So Clear Debt offering an additional free service, trying to save their customers money causes SteveF100 a considerable amount of outrage? This is a joke right? Surely the list of documents requested for the annual review is only mandatory for the review and not quotes on your gas & electric etc... ...

Creditors don't like TV rental - typically you'd be given a payment break to purchase a TV and then make up the payments at the back end. Also, £70 per month is an awful lot to pay for a TV, when you can buy a decent LCD TV from Tescos for about a £100, I'd be very surprised if they accepted it duri...

Hi
This is the same thread Foggy posted.
As I said, I don't post here in an official capacity and as that particular case has been escalated to our IPs for a formal complaint, it would not be appropriate to comment on a public forum.

@ lifenoteasy - the £16.16pw/£70pm would be the total voluntary contribution the debtor would pay. @foggy - i've just read the whole of that thread. it seems an unfortunate set of circumstances but it looks to have been escalated to our IPs for a formal complaint I can assure you will be dealt with ...

Hi This is not a scam - Swift are an introducer and pass cases to us (Harrington Brooks). It is definitely an IVA you're looking at - I believe we're on of the few commercial companies who will do IVAs at £70 per month, and if i may blow our own trumpet for a minute, we're we're top notch :) Hope th...
