Hi! The od payment was put in, but it was a guesstimate by the iva company! The collections agency who then contacted my partner (as it was joint od) would not accept that amount! As for the energy bill, that increased the month after my iva was agreed, and then again last month. I guess I didn't wa...

Hi all, Looking for some advise please! I've been in an IVA since June last year, paying a modest £300 per month. I was reviewing some corresspondance from my IVA company, and realised that I was meant to send copies of payslips after six months. Which I have not done. Also, I received a small bonus...

Hi all, Daft question # 147! I'm getting my house valuation this week, after weeks and weeks of "umming and arring"!! The question is how do you normally get the vsluation? Do you get it there and then on a piece of headed paper, or do they normally send it out? Daft, I know, but I'm away next week,...

The title says it all really! I know it's not going to be flowers and sunshine, but the thought of it makes me physically sick! I'm pulling together my paperwork at the moment, but I feel awful. For example, I'm trying to plan for worst cases in terms of childcare, as I know they are going to go up,...

Hi all, Has anyone had any experience of Zops in there IVA dealings. As they are a social lending site, I was wondering whether they treat an IVA an differently. The only thing I found on the forums was a post from a couple of years back - it went well back then, but windering if there was any more ...

That's interesting!
So, in this scenario, I am going into a IVA, and we have a joint account, which could in all likelyhood be frozen. My wife, who will not be going into an IVA, has a sole account with the same bank. Is this likely to be frozen?
Thanks!
Ian

Hi all, Just interested in the mechamics of a sole IVA (mine - potentially) and a joint bank account with HSBC. We have a joint account, and I am entering an IVA with a debt with HSBC. Would they close the account, or offset if I were in an IVA? We also have an overdraft on the account, which will b...

Hmmm, I seem to be starting to waiver a little in going through with all this..... Lots of what if's keep on flooding through my mind - daft things as well. Things like "What if my car packs up half way through", what if it's rejected, I can cope, I'm meeting my payments, how will this impact my rel...
