they dont do credit checks unless ur applying for credit, normaally its enquiry or id checks only..wouldnt worry about IVA for insurance

credit files are messed up for 6 years finishing early doesnt help much, does help but your seen as a bad risk

the reason why some accounts are not updated are because they have either written off debt after learning about your IVA or sold your debt
hence the default dates after IVA

they will need the certificate of completion for sure, that would have been the reason, allot of people talk about letting things drop off the credit file, that's silly advice...because by sending off certificate of completion they will mark account as settled or partially settled and no one can cha...

well done but cleaning up credit is the next part..that can be a nightmare, the amount of letters I wrote,I have passed the 6 year mark and still cleaning up the mess, some creditors are wicked. I have a score of 943 with experian, should be higher, but its just a guide, creditors use there own scor...

check your scores first and whats on your file......but it all depends on what your bank view is on people with past IVA's
there is a clause in a current account that they can occasionally check the CRA while you bank with them, but you should see this in your search section on your report

you can raise it with noddle, I have on many occasions
if creditors not updating its a journey to ico but you need a final letter from nationwide first, or try nationwide complaints department first..then ico
