<r>Well I have been IVA free for 2 years now...woohoo I hear some of your say. But 2 years down the line and I still feel like I'm being penalised. After 'the letter' to say I was free and all done and dusted I took out a small credit card to build my credit rating and I have paid it off in full eve...

Hi Foggy, thanks for the reply. I have had the credit card for over a year but it's only for £500 and I have had a sofa which I have been paying on a buy no pay later since June 2015. All done in the hope of building my credit rating. Plus the usual phone and car insurance contracts. Just seems almo...

Hi all, it's been awhile since I've posted having had my completion certificate a good while now and managed to rebuild my credit score. Everything dropped off in November last year. I have taken out a credit card to help rebuild my credit rating and I pay it off in full automatically every month. I...

Hi,I completed nearly a year ago now and one of my debts was with the Natwest bank. Obviously when I went into the IVA I personally had no further contact with them but I seem to have started receiving emails about an account. (I used to have online banking I think) but as it was so long ago passwor...

...what I meant to add was I got a store credit card with a £500 limit which I pay off each month just to build my credit score again. It is very odd after not having a card for so long.

I have had my CC nearly a year now and my credit rating on Equifax and Experian shows as fair and good but on Noddle its basically rubbish! 2/5 score. Just an observation. Also my noddle report doesn't show me as registered on the Electoral roll either.

Go for it and good luck, it would be nice to be debt free the same time your hubby comes to the end of his IVA, why would you want to start another one now! Do what size5 suggested and well done for sticking with it for 10 years!

Obviously without knowing the full reasoning behind your question the experts can't fully comment but surely some return on the debt owed to you is better than none.

Experian say my rating is FAIR, Equifax - GOOD and Noddle - POOR! The things which were in my IVA are all showing a...

Thanks Lesley for replying.
