I'm with Thinkbanking too and my wage hasn't gone in either. It took me ages to get through to them on the new free phone number theyve set up especially for this mess, but when I did they have transferred some money to my card account so I can get some food in at least. Hang in there and keep trying

i'm going to stick with thinkbanking for now because of the structured way they handle the account which I think will help until I get used to the iva and money in general, i was so used to going over my overdraft with my previous bank and credit cards just to buy food etc. and at least it takes the...

Yes it was just a savings account I wanted and have been given a 'first response' account with debit card, telephone & internet banking so happy with that. Just didn't realise bankruptcy & iva's were grouped together. There was also another account he mentioned I could have so at least I know there ...

Applied for a step account with Natwest as previously recommended on this site, just in case I have any savings eventually. Did it on line and they refused me due to being bankrupt...which im not as in an iva. Got me a little worried so i looked at my credit report which states iva so I rang the ban...

Exactly Lulu regarding the shopping, I find it much easier that way and did it for a while before the IVA too actually. At the moment I am paying for an old electric/gas bill out of the £80 per week as I switched to a cheaper company but that left me with an outstanding bill to the old company so wi...

Thanks for the tips. I have found that I have approximately £350 left after rent and bills per month to pay for food and any daily/weekly living costs for me and my daughter and wondered if this was a usual figure? Im so used to buying food etc on credit so I guess taking me a bit of time to get use...

She asked me if it was okay over the phone when she told me my IVA had been accepted, and that she would send the paperwork out today. I always think of things after i.e that my daughter was probably leaving college within the next week or so, that's the problem but tried to contact her and left 2 m...

I beleive it was a modification, nothing like this was mentioned before the meeting. I understand if she is in full time education then CSA can demand payment up to 19 years old but if she leaves then I don't think they can, not sure so will just have to wait until my IP gets back to me but it's tak...

Thanks, the meeting was today though and it's been approved already. Ive left a message for my IP to contact me, I did mention that she may be leaving college in the near future, a couple of weeks ago and my IP said when she does to let them know, just did not think it would be so soon and now im st...

My ex husband has not paid for her officially, just chipped in for school uniforms etc when she was young but sees her regularly and I try ...
