It wasn't a lot from my dad, but enough for my creditors to accept. I'm finally free, and it feels good.

Wow, after just 12 months I have finished my IVA. Having entered into one last June, my circumstances suddenly changed about 8 weeks ago and I lost about £300 per month in wages. Up to now they've been ok, maybe because I've coped and haven't caused any issue.
Fingers crossed they can sort something out....at the end of the day I haven't defaulted, it just my circumstances have changed!

Hi Foggy, I'm not sure, but as you say it probably was. When I completed all the initial paperwork I just told them my monthly salary. It was all there in the pay slips. Thanks for that....unfortunately Tesco's are one of my creditors, so don't think i could go there. I tried to do it via monthly payments with Hastings but got big fat NO.

Please help... Hi there, I'm 5 months into my IVA and its going quite well except for one thing. I've just had my car insurance renewal. It went from £27.something per month to £65.something per month. Naturally I cancelled it, although I did ask if that was their best! It's now Ive got the problem....

Paperwork gone and now the meeting date has been set.
14th June to be precise!
