Hey Baldy, I hit my 6 years IVA start date on 26th August, yes the IVA dropped off straight away, but we still have an on going battle with Creation Finance - who have already admitted (18 moths ago) they are wrong to have the default against us, even paid £75 in compensation but it's STILL there, i...

Everybodys offer is different, but as a rule of thumb no matter the debt it's the nearest you offer from the agreed penny in the pound they want. We "agreed" 22p in every pound owed. When Our offer was made it basically worked out to be 21p so was accepted - but our IP was a great help in working it...

I think every F&F differs from case to case !! We had an offer of £10,800 accepted. If you'd added up all our remaining payments we'd have paid £8,360. Plus we had the equity clause so with an extra 12 months (if it had gone that way) we had paid £12,920. So the offer was kind of somewhere in betwee...

Lulu is spot on - knowing you're not running up a credit card bill anymore is the best!! I just love Christmas now, January even more knowing a 4 page statement bill won't be falling on the door mat.

Yep we went camping too in Norfolk. Loved it - but next year we can now finally save and pay for a holiday to Turkey so excited...
But yes holidays are something to focus on - weather it's camping or something else!
It will also make you feel good knowing "you've" actually paid for it. [:)]

Hey there - we're also with GT and have been hounded by EIC for over 2 years now! We had a F&F accepted in Nov last year - we spoke to GT about our CC and the iva is now closed with the cert in the post. #128522; So as for these "requests" from EIC I'm not signing anything else and as soon we have t...

I believe a F & F is as individual as the iva it's self. We had a offer accepted just before Xmas. We had Just under £13k worth of payments left plus equity release.... They accepted £10,800 as a F&F and Now we're out of the release clause as well.

Well I'm back again with the biggest smile [:D] Shaun Vickery and his team helped me out being able to make a F & F offer to GT that was accepted on 27th November - Today the money was transfered. There was lots of hiccups but the end result was worth it all. I can not tell you the relief that it's ...

Hi Pavel33 - we were told today that once they receive the necessary paperwork(wage slips, proof of certain income and out goings, Mortgage statement etc) and we have 2 weeks to collate this (but already done it) it will then take 3 weeks to put the proposal together and another 28 days for the cred...

Hi Foggy, Well now I understand why no one can / could really answer my actual question, as the call is individual to your circumstances - But thank you as always for your advise. Oh and mine took 1 hour, but I do tend to waffle. Being with GT as well I know they take a lot of stick on here but they...
