Thanks for the reply. I think I will write to the offending creditors. I had all this worry during my IVA, I did not expect to have it once the IVA was completed.

Hi, my IVA was completed, by way of acceptance of full & final, in May this year. In July one of my creditors "sold" my debt to a debt recovery company and I had to get my IP, Payplan, to sort it out. In September I received a statement from another creditor, Mint(RBS) which said I had failed to mak...

Hi, my husband and I both had IVAs through Payplan and these were ended on 27th May this year after our full and final settlement was accepted. We received the completion certificates last weekend. Both my husband and myself had a credit card with Cahoot, owned by Abbey. These did not bother voting ...

I haven't posted on here for quite a few months now but for anyone who remembers me here is an update. My husband and I started IVAs in July 2007 with Payplan and we had a few discrepancies but things ran pretty smoothly. However, my husband was made redundant and having worked for the company for 3...

Hi, just to say thanks to everyone who replied to my post. We don't know what will happen to us now but our IP is telephoning us on Friday morning to have a chat so I'll let you know what happens. Once again, thanks.

Thanks Melanie. We're just wondering what to do. We don't know whether to sign these new proposals and send them back or not and just feel like we have no-one to turn to for help.

Thanks for the reply Melanie. I'm sorry to say that it was Paul Johns who was going to help. He asked me to send some copies of correspondence from Payplan which I did but I have not heard from him since. I emailed him last week asking if he'd had a chance to look at the the items but he has not res...

Hi, this is going to be a very long post so I hope you don't get bored half way through! My husband and I have been on an IVA since July 2007 with Payplan. It was only after three months when they told us how much money they wanted for my husband's 50% addtional income that we looked at the original...

Thanks Melanie and everyone else. My husband wishes they would just close the place so he could get his redundancy and look for a better job but he won't just leave as he's worked there for 35 years and would lose a lot of money.

Hi, my husband and I are on IVAs, he works full time but I only have Disability Living Allowance. The company he works for are having a month's shutdown so all employees are being laid off. They are paying him one week's pay in the first week but then nothing for the next three weeks and when they g...

Hi, I may be worrying about nothing here, but my husband and I are on IVAs and we both have Cahoot as creditors. As you know, these are owned by Abbey. I've been hearing on the news today about Santander, who own Abbey, taking over Alliance & Leicester. We have our current account with Alliance & Le...
