Yea the new card is for my cashminder, nothing wrong with the account just wanted to be a bit more “normal” I've been running a Cashmider acccount since my IVA, mine isn't a contactless card either. However, I set up Samsung Pay on my phone and it's great. Just hold the phone to the card reader and...

Afternoon all, Well yesterday I was accepted for a Capital One card. Not something I want, but I will use it just to help build my credit score. Anyway, I use Noddle and they tell you which cards you will be accepted for. Now, my understanding was this was a so called soft search. But checking my re...

Good to read, well done. Nobody promises it will be easy when you start, but nor it trying to juggle debt. I used my IVA as a learning tool, and like you kept everything open and true...... I came out the other side a better person. Just waiting to come off the Insolvency Register now and I can then...

Afternoon all, I have a question about credit scores. I know that people suggest getting a low limit credit card after an IVA to help boost the numbers, but I'm avoiding that if possible. On my file I have monthly car insurance, home insurance and mobile phone contract. These are all up to date and ...

Congratulations, it's great feeling.

At the beginning it does seem like you'll never get there, but the time passes - as you say, just let it run in the background.

Great post.

Thanks guys,

I've read the Blog & the info in the link :) I'll give it a while then check the files, I have no desire for credit anyway as I never have issues with insurance/phones etc.so I don't really need it, but I may at some point get a Vanquis card for petrol etc.

Thanks all, One question. CF said to let Equfax & Experian know. It seems that uploading the CC it a pain as you have to sign up to each in order to get any help, which becomes chargable after 30 days if you forget to cancel. . I've managed to sort Equifax, but Experian is painful - will the records...

Morning all. Just to update you, I had an email at 05:30 this morning from Creditfix and attached was my final report ( with advice to send to Experian & Equifax ) and my completion certificate attached - there's a hard copy in the mail. I probably won't frame the certificate and hang it in the hall...

I've just finished mine with CF, and they haven't asked for anything from me by way of payslips etc. Apparently they will be sharing the dividend this week and hope to get my CC over by email this week too with a hard copy in the post.

Watch this space!....
