Hi,
You can save at least half of whatever you are able to increase your income by or more if you have the 10/50/50 clause based on your agreed payment I believe.
I was lucky enough to get some bonuses so saved quite a bit.
If I'd not been as fortunate I'd have got a second income.
Regards.

Hi, An IVA is a great way of protecting your home and equity as you continue to pay your mortgage throughout. We had 200k debt and a lot more equity than you and although I believe there are more ways of re-mortgaging at the end now we could not and our mortgage was paid off shortly after we finishe...

Hi, We had a new car about 3 yrs before our IVA through Lloyds/Blackhorse and refinanced before the IVA started and I'm sure we were able to arrange the new terms well before the 3 yr deal was up, so didn't cause any issue with the IVA. It was just written in that at the end of the new term the paym...

Hi,
Stepchange were excellent throughout for us and their in-house IVA dept works exactly the same as any independent firm. I've said it a few times that they never get any issues raised about their service.
Regards.

Hi, Payplan get slated all the time, try Stepchange we found them to be great from start to finish. I don't think everyone who seeks advise from them are retained in their in-house IVA dept so it might be down to their criteria but you mention your debts are large and ours were massive so give them ...

Hi, We found Stepchange to be great throughout and very quick to issue a CC. They didn't bother us with PPI at all so we're looking forward to seeing what happens when we get round to claiming it. Regarding the reviews as I remember it was P60, 3 months payslips and bank statements , then at equity ...

Hi I can only comment on Stepchange through experience and they absolutely do a great job if you stay with their IVA dept. You never hear off any issues on this forum unlike most others and I'm quessing they handle as many cases. No PPI to bother with and very slick completion. Just pointing out the...
