Im uncomfortable with my IVA. The whole thing goes against my grain and I want to pay all my debts off in full. I have another 19 months to go at £217. My total debt was for £34000. Its highly unlikely that I will be able to release what bit of equity is in my home since my credit will be so bad, ...

Why not? I'd be happy to take on anyone in an IVA if I were looking for new staff, and also if anyone were to be bankrupt. It is about time employers were allowed to discriminate against any potential employeees - after all we would be slated if choice was based on creed, colour or religion.

I don't think you will have a problem, but best to check with the company to make sure. You could always make an anonymous call to them to make sure.
Good idea, hadn't thought of that. Thanks for all your help.

Hi Cathy. From no equity to enough to pay your debts off within a year seems like an unlikely rise in a still slightly falling market. Might I ask who did both the valuations. Hi Foggy, Thanks for reply. It was just 2 local estate agents. They didnt know why I wanted the valuation. I did think it w...

Hi, It all depends upon your companies employment criteria - I would check with them to make sure that an IVA isn't a bar to being employed by them. What sort of job are you looking at? Hi Kallis, its a trust company who send sales people out on pre generated leads to take will instructions and up ...

Hi Cathy, You would need to try and remortgage to release the equity. Unfortunately I don't think you will be able to whilst in the IVA. You could try your mortgage provider or a whole of market broker but I wouldn't bank on it. Hi Kallis, thank you for that. In that case though, how will I be expe...

I have just applied for the job and I will have to undergo some screening questions with the age...

I would like to end the IVA early if possible. But who would I go to to get eqiuty release? Most plac...
