My IVA commenced in May 2012 and was luckily completed in f&f in May 2013. I've ensure that all accounts on my credit report are marked satisfied but I have noted that some of the default rates continue throughout the life of the IVA and even for some time post-IVA. Now, I'm not sure if this will fu...

Thanks guys. My mum has already said she will stand as guarantor and I presume I will need her too. Her credit history is perfect so should be helpful. Was living with my ex previous to this but split up and had to move back home. Was hoping I wasn't going to have to stay with the parents until 2018...

So I entered into an IVA in May 2012. Luckily I was able to have it discharged in May 2013 after my parents came into some money. I am aware that it stays on my record for 6 years. Will I have poor credit until then? My credit rating is still shocking. I'm worrying as I'm looking to rent my own plac...

Well after only 11 months in an IVA I was lucky enough to have my mum make an F&F on my behalf which was accepted mid April. I have now received my Certificate of Compliance so my IVA is officially over. I still appear on the IVA register. Do I need to take myself off it? Is there anything else I ne...

Thanks all. If I applied today online would that be a breach of my IVA because I haven't received my completion certificate yet ?? I really don't want any credit searches showing up just in case x As I understand it, a mobile phone contract isn't classed as credit? Don't quote me on that though...

If you are nervous about being embarrassed by failing a credit check in store then you can always apply for a contract phone online. If you are rejected you would be informed by post, similar to a credit card or loan! No embarrassment necessary

I have queried it with my IP who has referred the issue to her manager who has confirmed that as it is a taxable income it is classed as earnings and I will have to pay 50% of the amount earned after tax, which I am happy with!
Any other feedback re this issue would still be appreciated!

I have considered taking part in a medical study to boost my income. For most of the studies the payment is £500+ but must be declared as self-employed earnings to HMRC. I therefore believed it would be classed as earnings rather than a windfall for the purpose of my IVA. I have contacted my IP who ...

Although I am only 3 months into my IVA, I am being already stressing about my end of year review! What exactly will be requested of me? I am anxious not to throw away anything I may need! Thanks.
