They were using it as a normal expenditure for the first 2 years of my IVA. Now the new C.O. has taken it off my expendture. So to compensate for that he deducted it off my net wage. I don't understand what the difference is?. It means i pay it all the same and it is taken into account within my IVA...

There is no problems making the payments. Also there is no sign of me losing my job in the near future. But for obvious reasons, just like anyone else, if my IVA can be concluded early then it would be the best option for me and my family. In fact with the overtime and shift allowance i am finding i...

Hi, I have been told by my dad that he is willing to give me £8000 to make a f&f offer to my creditors. Problem is my debts total £23,000. When my IVA was accepted it was at 23%, which with fees works out to about £9000. I have been very succesful with my payments to date, also making considerable e...

Hi Lesley, Yeah he said they would contact me in the next few days. I guess I'll just have to wait and hope they accept me. I didn't think household bills were an issue. I've got a mobile phone contract that I had before my IVA started. And the existing house phone and broadband are in my name and a...

Hi there, I have had a lot of problems with my isp talktalk. I was looking to switch providers and 02 seem to be the most reliable. I called them up and set up my phone and broadband with them and was welcomed. They told me i needed a MAC code from talktalk to switch over. I called talktalk and they...

I thought interest stopped whilst in an IVA? I thought that was a benefit in taking an IVA over a DMP?
And yes the equity clause is in my IVA. Thanks for the reply. So for example my debts were 24k, I might end up paying back 30k? Because of IP fees and interest?
