I too have been very disappointed with DFD lately. The first few years of my IVA they were excellent, but recently I have had the same problem of being held in a queue only to be hung up on after 10 minutes, which is absolutely astonishing in terms of rudeness. They are also very slow in dealing wit...

Hi....Has anyone got the DFD telephone number for customer care for those in an IVA?
The only number I could find on their website was a general one where you are on hold forever then it tells you to ring later and hangs up!

If you make an offer of a full & final settlement, do you usually have to offer more, the same or less than the amount you would still have to pay into the IVA to the end of the original time frame? Also, if you get an annual bonus, but it is not guarenteed, but you have recieved one for the last 3 ...

Wow, I didn't realise this was such a hot topic! msjax has a very good point that I hadn't considered. Its odd that you would claim for mis sold PPI against the companies that you have agreed your IVA with. The only winner will be Equity Finance Co. As for me, I am always careful what I sign up to, ...

My IVA is with DFD. I have been sent a letter asking me for various details so that they can reclaim mis-sold payment protection Insurance which will then be paid into my IVA. My IVA was increased from 5 years to 6 years by Northern Rock. When my circumstances changed after the first year and my liv...

I have a friend who is thinking about bankruptcy. She has no assets etc. She has a car which is on HP with 3 years payments left. She needs her car for her job. If she went Bankrupt would she lose the car, or as it is not technically owned by her would she be able to keep it and carry on the payments?

I am in an IVA and I have been continuing to pay my monthly car payment which was taken account of in my IVA. The last payment was last month, but I forgot that there was an extra £95 on top of the usual monthly amount. I was paying by standing order and hadn't amended the payment. When the finance ...

I am 29 months into a 6 year IVA with DFD. Just discovered this forum and it seems to have lots of good advice. My question.....I get paid an annual bonus and am allowed to keep 50% of this. If I was to save the part that I am allowed to keep, could I use this to pay off the IVA early, say at the en...
