Hi Foggy Thank you for your post. It makes sense to complain against the creditor first and ask them why they are claiming the monies into a closed IVA. Richard Savage was our former IVA supervisor with Debt Free Direct. In truth our whole IVA was a mess, all the terms and conditions we agreed to we...

I have received a letter today informing me that I am owed some money (not PPI or trust of the IVA) but the company have said that they were a creditor in our IVA and only r...

Thanks for the replies and I think we were mislead by our IVA company. I agree that there are alot of companies now saying about misselling of IVA's but I have never been able to find out why my sister walks away free and I take all the debt. I never agreed to do this and nothing was ever set agains...

We have been advised to go into an IVA after business folded. The business was 35% mine and 65% in sisters name. Advised that I would have to take 100% of the debt, as I own a house and my sister rents.

Hi, our IVA was dealt with over the telephone but I really wish we could have had a face to face meeting to further understand what the IVA entailed and what was expected. I would strongly advice a face to face if you can.

Hi all As some will know we are having problems with our IVA company (previous post - Can't take any more). Read other posts I just wondered if we could request a meeting with our IP to iron out all the problems that are happening. We seem to take one step forward and 3 steps back. So many mistakes ...

Hi all Just as I thought we were getting somewhere 2 more issues arise. Hi All Just thought I would give a quick update. We have had contact from DFD who have said that they appear to be having difficulty with getting post to us, which we find strange as we always get the letter re the annual review and always got letters when setting up the IVA! Hi, sorry not been on much today but needed to get out and clear my head a bit. I think it is time to take this matter further. When I researched everything 3 years ago when the business I was a partner in went under I took the advice from DFD to be the best option although I was upset at being told...
