Thanks Melanie. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I think the guy who was handling the case is still there, so hopefully he'll have some memory of it. Hopefully that will speed up the process of getting a revamped certificate. I need this sorted quickly or I'm going to loose the house

That's fabulous advice. Thanks very much for that. I'll get on that tomorrow :o) Unfortunately, while the cahoot thing is undoubtedly a factor, one of the conditions of the mortgage company in question is a three year gap between the date on the certificate, and now. I forgot to add that even though I repaid every penny owed, Cahoot - and I've been giving them hell for three years - still steadfastly refuse to remove the credit default from my credit history. I'm still in 'default' though everyone else is 'satisfied'. I thought that was the job of the IVA admini...

Having survived for a number of years on an IVA I managed to resolve my financial difficulties and repaid the IVA in full. The final payment was made in April 2007.
