We are sorely tempted but don't want to unessarily cut our nose off despite our face. We pay exceptionally good rent for what we have and wouldn't be too bothered if we could have some kind of definitive answer. The thing is also did this 2 years ago, got a buyer and then pulled out!!! We've seen a ...

One note that if you are finding the increase in your gas and water too much try ringing them and saying that you cannot afford £xx monthly payment but you can afford £xx and could you change to that and review it in say 6 months time. From past experience I have discovered that utility companies ge...

I note that you haven't received a reply so hopefully replying to this will pop it back to the top for one of the experts to answer. From my understanding of the IVA process I was under the impression that if you are keepingn the car that you are finance on then it does not get included in your mont...

Common sense should prevail but if not stick to your guns. To be honest whilst it might not seem alot to DFD it certainly is a significanty increase for you and one that will make your life easier and will stop you having to take from other budget areas. I have to say we've been very fortunate with ...

Just a note to say that whenever you send in documents it is advisbale not to send in the originals!

With regard to the payslips you will need to check your agreement or speak with your IP. We have to subit our payslips every 6 months.

Know how you feel - we don't have them under the floors (i hope) but we are pretty sure that they live under our shed. The first time we saw them was after we had a BBQ late last year. I did try to kill them but have discovered that trying to whack them over the head with a baseball bat whilst holdi...

I agree that there should be more regulation about how credit card companies throw applications at people without requiring any evidence of ability to pay. I think people should be limited to one credit card only and you limit is reflective of your annual salary upon which evidence needs to be produ...

Alternatively if you do need to answer the phone I always found this one worked and kept me in control. Whenever the phones rings and you don't recognise the number (if you ID) just answer with "hello" if they ask for you, you ask who is calling giving you an opportunity to screen the call, and then...

Just heard from my letting agents - our landlord has retracted the section 21 notice (notice of possession)!! So we don't have to move - yippee!!!! The agents were quite apologetic as they have only submitted the notice and he has changed his mind bearing in mind that he did this 2 years ago to us/a...
