Hello Firstly, check the insolvency register to see if your entry is still there, if it is then experian for example, will not remove until it disappears even if after 6 years has expired because it confirms that you still remain in an IVA. If on the other hand you have your certificate then this is...

I would be the 1st person to forgive mistakes and work with those that want to correct matters. I also want to be clear that no individual in DFD is being blamed. However, when you pay a substantial amount of fees, you expect a level of service to justify them. I have over 20 incidents where there h...

Hi Kah I echo your concerns with DFD, I too have some issues with them, same history with you (Clearstart) I contacted them 2 months ago to challenge the fees which I enquired in a previous post, fees were reduced although they refused to admit they overcharged me. Also the administration is truly s...

Hi Suzie I had a similar situation this year, my tax code changed from an L code to a K code. This made me worse off by £130 a month and my IVA has been left short by £840 in the final Anyway, I have my payslips and Tax coding notice ready and my IVA ends this month so Iam interested to see what the...

Hi Steve

I think the 12 month option is likely to happen. It's unlikely you will be able to remortgage either, your credit file would show the IVA unless someone is willing to lend. Anyway, stick with it mate and see through.

All the best

Hi Breezeboy

Check your experian credit file, they have addresses of creditors, which should include Natwest.

I had to contact them about removing defaults on my file but be warned, they are appalling in communication and will take them a long time to respond.

Good luck

Hi JoJo

I don't think Natwest should have issued the ccj after the IVA was approved, maybe a forum expert can clarify.

My suggestion is to write to Natwest and ask them to clarify. It could be an admin error and are notorious for delayed communications.

Hi Harvey As Ginger says, you need to get your Credit Files and write to all companies that have defaulted your loans and credit cards to amend/satisfy. The only additional suggestion is to ensure the default dates start from when you enter the IVA as in some cases, some creditors will amend your fi...

Dear Helen My first comment is please try not to worry, although it is easier said then done If I understand your situation correctly, your IVA is set to end but you met monthly contributions but no equity in your property is possible? Your IP should give you some options on how to bring closure to ...

Hi Sarah My suggestion is to get a name and number from the creditor or ask future communication is in writing. Then all details should be forward onto the IP that is acting on your behalf with all creditors included in your IVA. He or she can contact the creditors to discuss the details of the arra...

Frumpy dog, have you considered contacting the trading standards to get advice on unsolicited contact with these types of companies?

I would throw the book at them if I had my way....

Hi Simon

If the debt was included within the IVA, you need to discuss with your IP ASAP.

Either way, it's unlikely you will see any reduction in contributions but I hope your IP is able to help resolve.

Hi Steve You need to check your original terms of your IVA. My agreement included Overtime and bonuses to pay into the IVA at 50%, the remaining you keep. But if your monthly income has increased, an income and expediture may be requested by your IP. Some IVA companies expect you to send payslips an...
