Removal of Mortgage Title restriction - post IVA completion - not done automatically by Grant Thornton over a year after completion of our IVA.

We have recently just applied for a remortgage as like you was stuck on the SVR and had been for a few years since our IVA. We did some homework on our Credit files and got some defaults cleared up and only when they were all clear from ALL THREE credit ref agencies, CallCredit, Equifax and Experian...

When can I remortgage after an IVA?

No we completed early. I think the thing that's confusing me is the wording of the letter, saying about a bankruptcy order, when it's not. Is that just the wording they're using??

It doesn't sound like an IVA to me either, it should be 5 years minimum or 6 at a push. I would review your paperwork??

I want to make sure it's all done. All it says is that they will send a copy of the final report to our creditors. I don't want to assume that they'll sort it out for us, I've learnt not to assume anything now.

I have to post that we have had an email from Karol at GT saying that the closure dept are working hard to issue our CC by the end of July if not sooner. Maybe IP's like yourself could be having a quiet word with GT about the problems on here faced by their clients, because they don't seem to be making any effort to comment on any of our posts which I find incredibly insulting and also feel we are worthless as clients.

Nope that's completely normal, don't worry. I had that to start with. It takes a number of weeks for everything to filter through.
