going into my IVA was the best thing i've done. am now debt free, have my live back as I dont just live to work now. can put money away each month. All this with a job that pays a lot less then I can before taking out the iva and I no longer work silly hours.

I had a full natwest a/c when I went into my iva. no o/d. after doing a f&f. so iva sill on file, there wony give me a o/d which is fine. but there have give me a c/card for more then I asked for a o/d for.
always paid off in full each month.

Is this for you 1st months iva payment,?
or a up front fee?
if its a upfront fee, look for a company that dones not ask for any upfront fee.

good luck in finding a flat any where near London for £500 a month. as other have said you will need to talk with your ip

had to sell my house dueing my iva after losing my job. and would have had to go BR.
After talking things over with my ip. I made a F&F offer from the sale of my home of payments per month x months left. this left enough over to start again.

To any one thinking there IVA is hard, it is worth it.
If it was not for my IVA,
I could not have help my sons out this month to get his car insured or the other one with the deposit to rent a house.
Yes the boys missed out on some thing during the IVA but it was worth it.

The one thing you must not do is nothing. I looked into a dmp 2 years before I went for a iva. Was put of a dmp owing to the number of years it would take to pay off. I had to write to Santander, as the date they had was after my iva started. There put this right away and will now drop of in December this year.

you would be lucky to get a overdraft when in your iva. I have paid off my iva, but sill cant have a overdraft from the bank.
which makes my laugh as they give me a c/card which is paid off in full in each month.

After losing my job, I could not keep up iva payments and working with my IP.
My house was sold to pay off the IVA. with enouth left to restart my renting a flat. which I had to pay 6 months rent upfront.

had one when in my iva, was told my them there send one out each as I was sill in debt to them till my iva was over.
But I had nothing to pay to them.
