I had the same thing happen to me with YB. Explained my situation and still passed the CC to get a full current account. Nearly three years later and had no problems. Card payments and SO to my IVA Company have never raised a single Yorkshire eyebrow.

Hi, I am really struggling with things at the moment. Its not the payments, I get by and I know I am not as pushed as some. It is practically everything else that seems to be getting me down. Single and in an IVA is not great. It's not the greatest attribute is it. " Oh, sorry but any plans you have...

Gemma, How good are EIF at tracing and reclaiming PPI that might have been on loans settled before the IVA. In my experience, it was the earlier loans and c/c that i took out that were the ones that missold the PPI, for example "you can't have the loan unless you take out the insurance". Glad PayPla...

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I was hoping for some guidance.
My brother has told me that in the event of himself and my S in law dying that I would be a joint trustee to my nephews estate. Will my IVA effect my capacity to take this role?
Thanks in advance.

MBNA were my worst by far and they voted against. HBOS were really supportive who i owed 50% of my total debt too. Egg were pretty uninterested a couple of phone calls and standard letters. Next never rang and only sent statements. LLoyds, again, only sent statements. It seems a long time ago since ...

I seem to buy more at Christmas than I ever did pre IVA. Can't wait for my first Christmas after it is completed if I was to save my monthly payments from the date of my last payment to Christmas, i would have a whopping £3500 to spend.

Well done. I can't wait for that day. Think I would celebrate by having a glass or two of bubbly on top of one my favorite fells in the Lakes( not too many though, might not get down). Good luck for the future.
