DFD do seem to be pretty slow at the moment. Declan is a DFD advisor, he posts on here hopefully he'll pick this up and shed some light on what's happening. In the meantime all you can do is keep on at DFD x

You're right Andy it is frustrating and a little unfair considering it probably wouldn't have taken them that long to put a monthly payment up if you had a pay increase whilst in the IVA. The IVA completion date is set at the beginning so it's no surprise and you'd think they'd prepare for it in the...

Declan from DFD posts on here. Hopefully he will pick this up and look into it for you. I'm also with DFD and he's helping me with my completion too. Try not to worry too much, I know it's easier said than done but Declan will help

Hi Lesley, I've been in contact with Andy and he's going to put me in touch with the right people. Looks like a Debt Advisor is going to be the best option for me. I just hope there's a job out there for me :) Went a bit wobbly last night and lost confidence that I could do it but reading Andy's ema...

I should be jumping for joy, my IVA has finished I've got my Engagement party all sorted for next month. My 2013 wedding is nearly all but planned but I still find myself panicking about the silly little things. My finace wants to move in with me now, which is obvious he was going to do anyway, we j...

Good luck Diesel. I hope they can make things a little easier for you. The better they can help you manage your IVA the more chance they have of a successful completion so it's in their interests as well as yours to help as much as they can. Keep us updated x

I wouldn't worry about your re mortgage too much. They will probably just ask for an extension considering the current financial climate. It's extremely difficult to get a mortgage from anyone. I had our Equity release clause removed in Jan this year due to our separation. I kept the house but there...

I bank with ThinkBanking.com through RBS. It's a managed account so your Direct Debits are kept separate. You know exactly where you are with your money. There's no credit checks. £25 set up fee and £12 per month. I'm still keeping the account. It really helps with keeping to a budget

Thanks Oscar. I'm hoping it does all go in my favour. I'm going to put the feelers out by sending my CV to a couple of companies and explaining my background. Be interesting to see what responses I get. When I send my CV they can't contact my current employer can they? don't want them to know yet un...

If I can work from home even just some of the week I don't mind the long hours and if I can take home the same salary I have now I'd be more than happy. It's just finding the starting point and not making myself look completely stupid when I approach companies
