Bradders - Like you, I had 'The Drawer'. That convenient place where I could 'file' things until I got around to sorting them out. (which until now of course, I never did)

I guess the shredder will be doing a bit of overtime shortly and the postman will probably be able to walk straight again :)

Miak - Your parachute will open. Believe it. And when it does, the silver lining of it will blind you. I promise :)

Well Folks, yesterday was ‘D Day’ and my IVA was accepted [:D] I apologise for not posting too much during the months leading up to my creditors meeting. Like for most people I guess, the four months leading up to yesterday has possibly been the most stressful time of my life. The anxiety of trying ...

You are so right Dawn. This forum as been a godsend to me whilst I have been deciding what to do. Without it, I wouldn’t have anywhere near the information and insight into what options are available. Incidentally, like your OH, I always thought of myself as the ‘strong one’. I always ‘protected’ my...

As Tina has said, you are already doing the right thing but you may be doing yourself a favour if you could contact them in some way as this may reduce the frequency of the calls and help you to feel a little more settled. As you have suggested, you could contact them via secure onl...

Hi Dawn, You don't have to be ashamed, you have to do what feels right for you. If you feel that you cannot talk to the callers then don't. As Lesley says, it would appear that it makes little difference in the long run. When I chose to pursue the IVA route, I decided that I would speak to my credit...
