I have just completed an IVA and been sent all documents back, but there has been other peoples paperwork in the pack as well. I am now concerned about our paperwork and how this may have been shared and how safe it is.

You raise a very good point there "12 months to go", which I had not considered. I do not recall in any way whatsoever, my husband giving his permission for other companys to contact him for what should be deemed as "marketing calls" and literature. I believe this would be classed as marketing becau...

Thats a fantastic description of how proof of mis selling of PPI is constituted Declan, but it does not answer the question as to why DFD are writing to their customers telling them that they must sign over the authority to Equity Finances to re claim PPI, for a nominal charge of only 36% plus VAT (...

I do see the point about raising "honest funds" to pay to the creditors, and also agree and applaud it if that was the case

My husband has also had one of these letters from DFD telling him he has to sign the authority over to a company called Equity Finance, who only charge 36% plus vat (albeit they claim the fees from the payout). The letter states that if the case is won, then the creditors will get more money and vie...

Thanks Kallis and all. Much appreciated, if anyone else can add anything please do not hesitate, cos this is all a bit of a mine field at the minute. Sorry about this folks, but surely he entered into a definative contract 4 years ago, with clear direction of what he needs to do and what they need to do. I couldnt go and change contract details on a whim when Im 4 years into it so how can they be allowed to "stick this in there" because they want...

Ordinarily that would be fantastic advice Kallis, but unforetunately his IP is not the brightest I suspect. She allowed a joint debt to go into his IVA, my name is also on it, and it was not discussed with me, nor was I made aware of it until I tried to make a payment ??????? not the sharpest tool i...
