Hi,
Whilst the IVA remians of your credit file, you would need a 30% deposit.
If you wait until it has cleared ie after 6yrs then it can be done with possibily only a 5% deposit.
Hope that helps.

Hi, apologies on the delayed reply.
I cannot comment on the criteria when going dircet to your lender, but we do this all the time for our IVA clients, and can cover certain criteria the ledners sometimes ask for, so we can help.

Hey sam735,
Keeep going, you will get through this and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I cannot predict the future, but if your IVA came off your file today, and the credit file is all clean since the IVA i belive i could get you a mortgage with only a 5% deposit.
Hope that helps?

Hi Rlh1994,
Everybodies circumstances are different and i can predict the future on how lenders would view your position, but if you had a 30% deposit saved today, i could get you a mortggae as long as the IVA was Satified before completion.
Does that help?

Hi rachael558
There are lenders open to you, even with the IVA still showing on your credit report. You will need to seek the help of a mortgage broker who knows how to deal with people in your position.
