Wonder if anyone has experience of this...every month I pay £50 into my ex girlfriend's bank account, we have a double mobile phone contract that is in her name and comes from her account. It's always been fine as we are both with NatWest. Now, she has entered a DMP and her NatWest account has been ...

Equifax and callcredit only let me enter my current and 2 previous addresses, but others came up as linked addresses. Experian let me enter all of my previous addresses for my adult life so I was expecting more on it but there seems alot missing. I'm worried that if I start an IVA I'll miss someone ...

Well hopefully I'm on my way to sorting my financial mess out! Got a phone meeting with Tina from Melanie Giles on Friday to look at how to go forward. Just waiting for callcredit to give me a pin number then I'll have all three credit files to help me get a better picture. I've actually found exper...

NR could have sold it on, that is a possibility. I doubt they'll have written it off...it's alot of money! Other creditors have relentlessly looked for me for far less! Would have thought the buyer of the debt would show on my file also. Then again I havent seen my CRs from equifax or call credit ye...

I have tried to get my report from equifax and callcredit but their online applications both got upset that I'd had more than 3 addresses in the last 6 years, so I've got to fill in the paper forms. Strangely enough they have both still taken £2 from my debit card! So does anyone know why the northe...

Well, after a few years of denial, I have decided that in the new year I am likely to apply for an IVA. To get the ball rolling, I thought I'd order my statutory credit report from experian, which duly arrived online for me to view. After I few deep breaths I opened the link and much was as I expect...

I too have applied for the Select account online following my annoyance about my step account- can't use many cash machines or 'pay at pump' petrol stations. I said no to the overdraft and it got accepted with no problems! Just have to sign some stuff and send some ID and I will once again have a we...

Hi My former housemate, with whom I am still good friends, accidentally opened a letter for me that went to her house, as the name and address had dropped below the window, and it was an angry letter from wageday advance threatening to send collectors round and all the other hot wind, as they do, bu...

Mystery solved! I have a NatWest step account and have only just seen this thread, explains why I suddenly am unable to use many cash machines I have used before. As I've not started an IVA yet I might be able to upgrade to a better account, they always ask me to when I go in a branch so might as we...

Thanks guys. Sounds reassuring. Paul, I don't know if she's paying anything. I haven't spoke to her since we split and I haven't seen my credit file since either! Jointly we had an unsecured loan for 25k and also our house was repossessed, outstanding mortgage was 90k think it sold for 70k...so join...

Hi I have recently posted about what happens when your job is basic salary plus commission based, and I am gathering that most IPs will base the payment on your basic wage. My concern is that the kind of payment I could afford from my basic wage might not be enough. I read on the 'IVA pros and cons'...
