Thanks for the reply Steve but GT have sent a statement with the dates and amounts they have claimed to pay Barclays via TIX. My guess is that TIX have not made any payments to Barclays except on one occasion. Therefore both GT and Barclays should be bringing TIX to account. I would like to know wha...

I went into the IVA but my wife did not, however we had a joint loan with Barclays. My wife made arrangements to make monthly payments and Grant Thornton also agreed to do the same. After about two years my wife asked Barclays for an up to date statement and upon subsequent perusal all of her payment...

True but I still have a good while to go and I am concerned that by the time comes some organisation like bank of Wonga will be offering remorgages at special interest rates and we will end up worse off

Most interesting as we had a letter from Blair, Oliver and Scott representing Sainsbury's thanking her for settling the account and stating that it would be closed.

It was not paid in full but had they explained that the remainder would remain in the IVA we probably would have paid it.

Hi Melanie, Thanks but the question is: does the total outstanding debt include the IP/IVA fees or do the creditors absorb the IP/IVA fees.

At the end of the IVA (60 months) would you be expected to pay back the all of the remaining debt excluding or including the IP/IVA fees? e.g debt £50k, IP/IVA fees £8K (total £58k). IVA payments 60 x £500 = £30K paid. If you were capable through remortgage etc would you then be expected to pay...

A joint loan was included in the IVA proposal which was accepted but my wife was not included in the IVA and the Bank then came after my wife. A payment for full and final settlement was subsequently made to the bank. At what stage should this be removed from the IVA? Should the IP then reduce his f...
