oh my God, ClearDebt are so generous to offer this review of your DMP. Everyone should flock to them as soon as possible to take them up on this special offer that they offer to everyone. On a serious note you should speak to someone though and get a case review. This site recommends Melanie Giles, ...

Fair play to Gemma. She has answered all the questions asked off her and I think that the reasons behind most of it seem justified. You all know already I do not like Payplan but I think Gemma shouldn't be taking flack for her employer (or is she a volunteer - lol). The fact of the matter is all IPs...

Easy Tiger.lol. I knew they were not what they appear to be but you seem to know a lot more than most. Perhaps the rest of us should educate ourselves more about these so called charities.

All IVA companies charge trionon. I was only referring to DMPs. Although while you mention it CCCS and Payplan will not correct you if you say they are free for IVAs.
I think in an IVA if you have paid fees these will be gone now. To be fair this will be the case with any provider.

No chance Michael. All journalists are cowards. The papers are supported by the credit industry for advertising, the credit industry support payplan and cccs because they can get more money back from unsuspecting consumers. All the while the consumers state that the 'free' sector are the best thing ...

Yeah that's right Foggy. I think where a donation is a fixed amount that it is viewed as a commission payment and is subject to transparency. This transparency is not forthcoming.

Well said Broke. Couldn't say it better myself. Who is responsible for enforcing these type of things. I felt mislead by the charities before I educated myself. The banks are owned by the public mostly so why would it make sense that they would give money away to a charity when they can get paid in ...

Thanks for the reply Harpic. I think you may have missed the point of my post. I was wondering why all other companies are bound by the terms of the Debt Management guidelines in terms of they way they must reveal how much they receive for the various services they provide whereas the charities I me...

I have been told that the "Free Debt Management" companies get paid by the creditors and I heard how much they each charge CCCS = 11% Payplan = 17% This information came directly from employees of both these "charities". I cannot find any mention of these figures on their websites Seemingly every ot...

Tina, Thank you for the reply. I am making decisions here at the moment. I don't really want to do an IVA but I appreciate this is an IVA forum. I just want to avoid people trying to force CCCS down my throat. I do not believe that free means better. On the contrary. I think the relationship that th...

Hi all. Over the last few years my debt has gotten out of control. My o/h has lost her job and we relied on credit to live. I now realise I have to do something about this. I have found out that CCCS get 11% back from creditors. Now, why would the creditor that. Also, why do the creditors tell peopl...
