hi, i opened a coop cashminder account in sept 2012 whilst in an iva and was accepted. the card is a visa debit and not had any problems with it. i went into the branch to open it as when i rang they could no longer open them over the phone. the account was opened that day. hope this helps [8D]

hi, just letting you know that i applied for a cashminder account about 4wks ago, i have been in an iva for almost 5 years and they didnt turn me down. hope this helps. i also went to the branch and they told me there n then!![:)]

i applied for co-op cashminder account 2 wks ago and it all went through fine, so may be u could try them i had to go to the branch though as when i rung up they said they couldnt do it over the phone. they were really helpful and i told them before applying that i was in an iva. hope this helps.

i applied with co-operative its was a good price and can pay month.

i got the same letter today and was confused as i only have 3 payments to make till the end of my iva, and had some replies on here that said not to worry which put my mind at ease.

thats what confused me because i thought if they was going to sell the debt on why wait till 3 months to the end of my iva finishing.

thanks it just seemed very strange as my iva is finished in december and didnt realise they could sell a debt off so close to end of iva.
