Hello! My partner has opened a bank account for me to use with Barclays, so obviously the account is in his name. Barclaycard (or Egg, who I have the debt with)are one of my creditors. What would happen if I got my name added to this account so it becomes joint? Could Barclaycard touch our money in ...

I have spoken to an IP and this is their suggestion, just seems very low but it's all I have spare. Plus i own a property which i may have to remortgage. i guess this will make it look slightly better
