Hi there In May of this year the six years was up, and the iva I took out in 2012 was off my credit file. I have been offered a decent deposit for a house from my parents and I am trying to get on the property ladder. I have had a decision in principle from a lender (through a broker) and tomorrow I...

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I posted, but I know you all are experts and I have a question. I took out an IVA in May 2012, and after a few years I made a full and final offer that was accepted about three years ago. So, my six years is up in May and my thoughts have turned to trying to r...

Hi everyone, Its been ages since I was on here. Things ticking along ok, in terms of the IVA. I am one of the ones transferred to Creditfix from PJG and I have just over two years left on the term of the IVA. Early last year I separated from my husband, and now we are starting to discuss divorce and...

Hi everyone, Firstly, I apologise if this has been posted about before, but I have not been on this forum in ages, so I am not very up to date. I have just seen (from a friend on Facebook status) that Northern Rock are refunding interest on loans taken out, due to missing info on contracts (or somet...

I should have said, the course is only 5 days long. Our income and expenditure is based on husbands wage and our tax credits/CB, so payments wont be affected. Its the income side that I was concerned about.

Hello everyone, Firstly I want to apologise for going off the radar. Since my IVA was approved in May things have been ticking over fine. I have popped on a few times, but not posted, so I am sorry. I have a question now though - its really just hypothetical at the moment and I am just info gatherin...

Slightly different situation with me, as the IVA is in my name only. Hubby has no debts in his name but we were worried when we intially started the process. Tina S (from IVA advice Co) suggested hubby could put in a 'notice of dis-asscioation' from my IVA. We have no joint accounts or mortgage thou...

Thanks everyone - I am sure I will be on here very regularly with questions and random musings. Its strange, I almost feel that I shouldn't be celebrating entering into an IVA, but it is going to make sure a difference to our family's life. So bitter-sweet! In 5 years time (or maybe sooner) I will b...
