Does everyone assumr that we will role over and do whatever is asked of us? We have a right to know where all this additional money is coming from - don't play dead - chase all the account details, get copies of all accounts and communications - you have a right to know exactly what charges are fair...

And there it is --- the 6 years thing is just a big lie. If only the advertising of the IVA's were not so sexy and actually informed consumers of the risk of having a record for many, many years, perhaps some of us would have chosen a different route? Instead the catch phrases "free of debt in 5 yea...

So the whole free in 6 years thing has been miss sold to many consumers. When will we start claiming on that then? Perhaps like ppi we all will benefit from a pay out of our own!!

No... tis the problem they say that their legal team is on it - every week since april they have said that they were expecting it to be last week ! They have used the word frozen and powerless in their communications with me. I worry about time particularly as so many forum members are even further ...

Not good enough, I'm afraid. Ppi claims have been around for more than this last year- I know this as have been contacted regularly by claim companies way before my iva company cottoned on and joined in with a add on company in the think money group. problems with claims may be recent, but if assets...

Is it against regulations for ips to wait until the last year of the iva to realise assets? If so , I have a case for malpractice.

Judging by my own case and many many others - completion certificates are a rare find! Paid or not! Ppi stalemate .

Coming from a family of lawyers , I will be lookin into exactly that foggy. It would be nice to mount a huge action on behalf of all victims of this sham but I may have to be a lone wolf .

Who will set this precedent? Will it be my case? At least then some action would take place - so fed up of a 5 year thing lasting months and months longer than scheduled- others even years longer - pull your finger out iva companies! In the states we would all be claiming for undue stress leading to...

If ips received guidance months ago why is it that FJ are telling me that their whole company is on freeze whilst they wait for the legal team to get their position on the ppi issues? Are they lying to us?

Excellent! I have a 7 year old boy - he answers all calls during the day at weekends or from 5- 6 week days if we are in. He answers " hello fat jacks pizza shack can I take your order remember pepperoni is on special" this is potentially very confusing for overseas call centres!

Just all about time - iva companies obviously want to chase possible assets - knowing that they generally get around to this in the last year of the iva judging by experiences expressed on this forum, and that ppi could take up to 18 months to resolve - it would be preferable to chase ppi claims ear...
