Also contacted equifax who have issued a notice of correction to say my iva is now complete. However, they say I have to contact the creditors individually to ask them to mark the account as satisfied. However, they are under no obligation to do this apparently.

Having completed my IVA with a F&F, I sent a copy of my
completion certificate to Experian who confirmed they had amended my records. With the certificate was a list of the creditors. Will Experian have amended the records for each individual creditor to say 'debt settled' or words to that effect?

Thanks Melanie,

My variation meeting was on the 26th June, the re-mortgage was completed on the 18th July, the solicitors sent the payment to the IP the next day. I rang my IP company on the 20th July who told me they had received the payment. Should I ring them?

How long does it take for your IP to issue a completion certificate on completion of an IVA? My F@F payment was sent to my IP on 19th July and as yet haven't heard or received anything. No panic, just wondering. Cheers

Mortgage got completed on the 19th July; however the solicitors sent my previous lenders the balance they were quoted on the 4th July. This didn't include the payment I made on the 6th July. I now have to wait for two weeks to get this back from the previous lenders; apparently this is how long it t...

Having had my F@F settlement figure agreed at a creditors meeting on 26th June, I am still waiting for the re-mortgage to be completed. The solicitors appointed by my mortgage intermediary should have completed it on 11th July. I rang them yesterday and said to ring back this morning as it should be...

Hi Andy and Mel, In the iva, the breakdown of figures to arrive at 35p/£ included the £4000 equity. Whether this is a minimum or not the statement I quoted in my first post doesn't make clear. I'm just concerned that the creditors may reject the F&F in the hope of getting more equity in a couple of ...

In my original iva proposal it states: "The property is to be valued shortly after the approval of the arrangement and 50% of the material equity is to be realised and paid to my Supervisor for the benefit of my creditors. I propose that an agreement be reached with my Supervisor as to the manner in...

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I am currently paying £450 a month. My mortgage payment is due to go up by around £160 a month. I had no year 4 equity release clause in my iva. The only clause which involved my property was that the house was valued at the time of the arrangement and 50% of the equity at ...

My IVA is two years old now. I contacted my IP recently about offering a f&f payment to bring my iva to an early conclusion. They put me in touch with a mortgage consultant who contacted the IP to get a settlement figure which they knew the creditors would accept. A re-mortgage is now in the process...

Just completed two years of my iva. Told my IP that my mortgage fixed rate deal is due to come to an end next month which will involve a substantial increase in my mortgage monthly payment. She put me in touch with a mortgage consultant who has obtained me a re-mortgage to use some of the equity in ...
