Hi, During my IVA I mined a few bitcoins, seeing as I couldn’t really afford to have much of a social life. Back then the values were pennies but now they have gone up so much. I never declared these as they were worth less than £2. I have completed my Iva but could they come after me for a portion ...

I completed my Iva a few years ago and I looking to switch my NatWest account to a Barclays one. Barclays were a creditor on my previous Iva. I have applied online for a current account and I have been accepted but will they close the account once they realise I was in debt to them? I really don't w...

Having completed I felt the same but then on the other hand I also felt they encouraged me into debt. When I completed my IVA I started to donate £100 to charity rather than paying back the full amount I owed. At least te money I pay goes into a good cause rather than a bank who lent me money knowin...

I have come to te Enid my mortgage deal and despite having a clean history for a year post Iva I noticed that most banks will not let anyone apply for a mortgage who had an iva. I am wondering how I can go about getting a mortgage? The bank I am with will offer me a deal but won't lend me more. I am...

I checked my paperwork with Audi and I pay 165 a month for a 09 plate a3. I then have to pay a lump sum in four years which is 4k or give it back. That car was up for just over 10k. I will pay interest but on a new car I think it's worth it for the sole fact I get a two year warranty. If it helps, y...

I had the same issue when my Iva completed. I was offered a loan via money barn but it was really expensive and I didn't want to pay the high rates. I bought myself a cheap runaround for 3-4 months while everything cleared up. I also got myself a vanquis card to build up my rating. 4 months later I ...

while the banks my not make any money from you for the 5/6 years the years after you are effectually a target for their sales again, as my experience has proved. Either way I don't really like Natwest bank but I will stick by them because they gave me an account when I needed one. PS I still dony bu...

I totally agree with the above post on this. I spoke to lost of different companies and settled for baker Tilly who became debt life boat. Choosing who you deal with is a major factor, I for one would have hated to deal with DFD and other poor companies on here!

These are all new to me to from a credit point of view. Barclays did give me a 90% chance of getting a credit card but I opted for the nationwide one. I think banks who you had debts with hold details for longer than 6 years!
