Well had my creditors meeting today and i have been accepted after my 3rd atempt i would like to thank mel, marc and the rest of the team for helping me on this long journey and its a great start to the new year which i know will be tough but i have learnt by my mistakes and not proud of what i have...

Well it's been 6 months now of hard work on a dmp I had a email of Marc the other day and its good that mel and her team did not forget about me I have now got the 7th jan 2013 for my creditors meeting so hopefully it will be third time lucky and a late Xmas present for me and a fresh start .

just got my chairmans report back and 1 did not vote 1 accepted and the other 2 rejected the proposals so think there might be some hope for me next time

i have spoken to mel and her team so i can only hope now no harm in trying again got nothing to lose really

Well after listening to all the great advice on here I am going to give it another go for a iva . And I am good hands to get through this it's not as if I don't want to pay the money back ;-(

just a quick question why would the creditors change their mind if they said they wanted 6 months since i last gambled ?

was advised to go into a dmp with the same monthly payments as i would have if my iva would of been accepted then in 6 months apply again for a iva not got much choice really ;-(

yeah some of my debt was due to gambling which i have stoped for about 3 months but the creditors wanted 6 months of non gambling thats why it was rejected ;-( as i said its my fault i got in to this mess.

Well off to bed now after my late shift at work hopefully will have some good news at 11:15 tommorow I will keep you all updated when I find out .

I have just looked at my forms and made a mistake my meeting is on the 2nd which is a day earlier so 1 less say to wait

HI Got my creditors meeting on 3rd may at 11:15.
