I didnt receive anything, I received an annual review letter for the first time a week or so back. Started the IVA back end of 2010 though. What should I do to pursue this? She wont get involved with the IVA, she was aware I had one when we moved in and she picks up all the bills etc, I pay my share...

In fact, thinking about this, everything is paid by my other half, and she will not submit anything to DFD, then I would be really stuck! Cant prove anything then can i :(

Nope, no first review, not sure why.

I am with Debt Free Direct.

What do they do with the reviews, just amend the monthly payments or is it something more?

That's what I thought, just a right kick in the proverbial when you hear of people doing it and getting away with it when you are still paying it off!!!
Not worth the risk of stopping is it, least once its done, its done!!!

Hey,

I have spoke to a few different people about debts etc, I mentioned the IVA and about 4 different people have all told me they had an IVA, they just stopped paying it and never heard anything else, just ignored the letters etc..... 3 of them now have credits cards again.
HOW!?!?!?!?!?

Hey Liz, Yeah before the IVA it was awful, just felt I was stuck with no where to go other than bankruptcy, but it has helped massively.

I have sorted out an e-savings account with Natwest now. I may well do that, alternatively I will just get my better half to set one up and transfer it to hers, saves the hassle of discussing the dreaded IVA.
