When making a full and final payment from money from a family member, if the offer is rejected will we still have to give half into the iva.

We would like to pay off our iva with a full and final payment, as a friend has offered us some money, what information do they need from our friend in reguards to this money, and what are the chances this will be excepted as last time we tried with our bonus they rejected it.
