What's the point of the iva if your going to be in just as much debt as when you started?
The completion of the iva is meant to be a fresh start.

Mate for 70k of debt I'd just go bankrupt and be done with it.
I'd only choose an iva over BR if you have assets you want to protect, like if your a home owner.
Your a young guy, and you've got plenty if time to recover financially.

Mate that's Nram for ya, and to think that they are owned by the taxpayer is beyond rediculous.

What gets me is that I discussed the surrender fully with Nram prior to giving the keys back and I paid the mortgage in full every month until I sent the keys back.
