Hi all It's been about 3 years since our IVA was done and dusted and everything is okay. We got a letter the other day from a company called CIO (Consumer Information Office) who are based at Manchester. The letter claims that due to a high court ruling last year, we may be able to reclaim charges t...

It's now well over a year since I made my final payment to DFD. After no end of promises, still no sign of a completion certificate. The only thing that could be holding the process up is the PPI/EIF saga. I rang EIF to see how things were going and after a few standard security questions, a very he...

I know how you feel Zander. We comply with everything for 5+ years or else we will be in breach etc, then when it's time for DFD to finish the job, we get fobbed off with tripe and weak excuses. I phoned DFD the other day to be told my case has been put on hold! I am so hacked off, I wouldn't recomm...

I work in a modern manufacturing facility (factory) and if we operated with the same degree of customer focus/care, we would be out of business within 3 months. Taking the money and supplying constant excuses backed up with vagueness and incompetence is not the way business is conducted.

I feel your pain Random Lady, I am in the same boat. After complying with everything I was told to comply with, I get the same brush off's that you do. If I had treated my IVA with the same level of contempt that DFD have, I would be in serious trouble. The person in the IVA is legally bound to a bi...

Don't get "talked" into using Equity in Finance to reclaim any PPI for you. They seem to be one of the main reasons why the delays are so long. EiF also charge 35% for the service, there are many other PPI reclamation companies out there that charge much less which would give your creditors a slight...

Hi I am aware there are other threads dealing with the same issue but I don't wish to gate crash them so have started a new one. I made my last payment to DFD 12 months ago and E in F have been dealing with the PPI side of things about 2 years now. I have 100% complied with making payments on time, ...

I am in a very similar position as Nathan. I made my last payment to DFD last July and agreed to the changes to the T&C's. A few days after this I got a letter saying that a variation meeting was set for the 24th April. A couple of days after this I got another letter saying that this meeting had be...

I am just happy to be rid of the millstone payment every month. PPI reclaiming is at an advanced stage and once that is complete, I will be pestering DFD on a weekly basis.
