I have been following this from the very outset wondering if I should comment or not, but I couldn't resist any longer. Worried I think you may have a very blinkered view on this issue. In all honesty do you believe the creditors give a monkies how you come across in the proposal? Do you believe tha...

Hey

I've hired 3 cars whilst in my iva and never had a problem. Just watch out for the £250+ deposit they ask you to leave whilst the car is on hire! I used car hire 3000 always seemed to have the best deal.

Enjoy your break away

Hi all Would just like to say that Capitalone do indeed seem to be more sympathetic to us ex iva'ers I finished mine last year and got my CoC a couple of months ago. I waited a month for it all to settle down and then applied for a card ( needed to hire a car for up coming holiday ) Capitalone said ...

Hi suky424 Totally agree! Barclays are muppets! I also put in a ppi complaint against them, however I got a letter back stating they had no record that my loan even existed! I even sent them proof that I had been paying the loan off through my iva, they still said they had no record of it! It's with...

Sorry to sound harsh Gavin but you'd be an apocolyptic moron to do that! If I understand this right this shark will loan you £750 to go bankrupt but you have to pay back £2850? Thats 300% interest! Don't be a sucker for this you'll end up in a worse position and with the added possibility of no legs...

Hi If you see previous threads in regards to GT it is taking them considerably longer than 6 months to close cases. This being due to vat issuse and ppi claims being made amongst other things. I completed last September and only received my certificate last week. So all I can say is keep emailing th...

Hi

Grant Thornton are massively back logged with closures. I completed in sept'11 and only got my completion letter last week.

All I can say is keep the preassure on them with calls and emails and ask for a definitive time frame for completion.

Good luck
