Hi all, I am looking for some advice as If there is an external complaints process regarding completion certificate being issued. After 6 years of payments I paid my iva off in August 2012, I am still waiting one year on for my certificate however. I was advised through persistent chasing that the f...

Exactly the same has happened to me, although i completed my final review no monies were required but they still want more as i have now been made redundant 3 months after my final repayment in May.
Don't expect a quick resolution either it's at least 6 months to close your IVA.

To add onto this I never missed a payment, complied with wage reviews and had payments increased due to a wage review which was understandable. My debt was 42k and i paid off just over 30k. Can you advise your IP to make it final with your creditors as some have dropped off my credit file already as...

How can this be the case when surely i made my last payment and i became redundant after the 68 months. Also...

Also i have just noticed one of my accounts hasn't even been defaulted it just advises 6 payments late. Yet this was included in my iva in 2006.
I just hope the rest get removed soon and it looks like my only option is to start contacting the creditors.

Thanks for the help. My only concern is getting in touch with the creditor are that poster's have advised they have had there credit file updated but the amendment then takes another 6 years to remove from your file. Is this true?

Next week will be when my 6th year is up so I have decided to view my credit report from experian. 3 of my previous loans have a default date of...

Again i come to the point of it stating that an IVA cannot proceed any further than 6 years, this is just rubbish then if the IP can delay it that long and claim anything further that may come your way. Can they ask for further wage reviews / bank statements etc to get more returns or is it purely a...

IVANotOverYet- I just don't see how Grant Thornton can get away with it. When you have worked hard to pay off everything and all you want is a clean slate it just becomes morally wrong to still impose so much on your life still. Hope you get your certificate soon. What would happen if you came into ...

HI Niobe, thanks for the reply. I am with Grant Thornton, relating to what you are saying they have also sent my details to another company with my permission to see what if any PPI was due. I didn't realise they could claim money back and add this into the IVA once all the payment terms were comple...

Hi, I completed my IVA on the 1st May 2012 after 68 monthly repayments but this has not been signed off yet. I have complied with everything that my company has asked, including increasing payments when i recieved a promotion at work and never missed a payment. Each pay review that has gone by has c...
