I applied for a SC for an immigration job a month ago. In the extra space I stated I was in an IVA when it started and when it is due to be completed. They sent an extra financial questionnaire, which I completed and printed off my IVA plan and sent it off to them. I was security cleared a week ago....

I just scan and send mine via email. They are more than happy to accept these as its less hassle and also confirms that you have sent them. Mine always got lost in the post and because its a court order they have to be sent on time.

Running-woodchuck: did you give that info voluntarily in you sc questionnaire? Or did the employers specifically ask for it? Do you think I should declare the IVA even if they don't ask on the clearance form?

I am applying for an immigration officer job at heathrow and they have asked for security clearance. I just wanted to ask will my IVA hinder my chances for getting the job?
