Hi all Wonder if anyone has had any experience with Nationwide failing to update the credit files. I completed IVA in Dec 12 and promptly sent letters to creditors who had incorrect information listed with credit agencies. That's a good point, I wonder if they can check with each other? Thanks IVANotOVerYet........of course if they ask then telling them will make it known.
Can anyone out there give a definative answer for ways it can be traced beyond the credit agencies or declaring it.

If you are applying for a Mortgate post IVA how would the lender know that you have been in an IVA? Can they check historic records?
This is assuming its over the 6 years and all your credit agency files are cleaned up.

So an update....
Got straight onto Gary at VN who promised to look into things, speak to the managers at Richardson Mail and get things moving. That was 3 weeks ago and I havent had an update.
Seems it's upto me to keep doing the chasing!

VN did this to me also, they put it down to a "miscalculation as the origional figures were estimates" at the time I felt they 'had me by the balls' so I paid.
That was some 9 months ago, and there still to close!
