Hi! I think from reading posts on here that the banks have rights to set off, meaning that they can keep any monies owed! I'm not sure you will win any ppi claim but please keep us posted as to the outcome!

I'm sorry Mel but this is disgraceful! Gentleman or no gentleman the scaring tactics need to cease, a standard approach adopted and the respect to all those who have entered such an arrangement in order to pay back as much as possible be appreciated! I cannot believe such is now going on! Perhaps Da...

Mel I am not generalising but merely listening to many posters on this forum who are saying the same thing! I'm not meaning to offend you but simply have an opinion which may differ! I would still like to know if it is mandatory to claim for mis sold ppi and if so why are incentives offered to some ...

Yes Niobe but hopefully you will be wise enough to know you have done wrong and there are repercussions!! I bet also it applies to all those who 'do wrong'and therefore policies and procedures will be the same for all!!!unlike the ppi process in an IVA!!

I'm sorry Mel but in bankruptcy you know exactly where you stand and what the conditions are! That is one of the reasons that I wud think some people choose not to go diwn that road! Simply because it appears far more intense and restrictive! IVAs are sold as debt free solutions in 5 years ( in most...

Foggy that is just it! Insolvents are in a position and the IVA companies well know it!! That is why they won't close IVAs as they are afraid that they may be challenged when claiming any refunded ppi from somebody who has had completion! It really will only take one challenge through the courts the...

They must do orchid5! You only have to read the blog from Cleardebt!! The IP also gets 15% of realisations hence who wouldn't get everyone to make a claim if that's the return!! Sorry if I'm being cynical but I will not believe this isn't financially driven unless proven otherwise!!

Thank goodness for that theartist!! I agree with you too and am now fed up of hearing all the differing policies and procedures within the companies! It's either compulsory to claim or not simple as!! If a bankruptcy can end on time despite ppi then why not an IVA!!! Mmmmm I wonder!!! Answers on a p...

I bet the OR doesn't offer an incentive tho!! I'm sorry but I still feel its the financial reward which is driving this within the IVA companies otherwise no incentives would be required!!!

Hi! I declared the fact that I had been in an IVA but now all completed! The letting agent was very nice and said would I be prepared to pay 2 months rent in advance which I agreed! Having agreed though I felt a little miffed as we are more financially stable than ever before! Anyway all credit chec...
