Don't forget the 50% will only count for the remaining year of the increase, as soon as you do an annual review it all goes in the pot.

And don't forget, if they start ringing you just refuse to answer security questions and they have to terminate the call. No matter how much they whine that they are only trying to help you!

Marston are bailiffs, so have more powers than run of the mil debt collectors. Have a read here: https://moneynerd.co.uk/marston-group-bailiffs-debt-collectors/ But sometimes they are only acting as debt collectors which limits what they can do. They will still tell you all about their powers as ba...

The new payment figure would leave me unable to save anything or unplanned expenditure.

If last year was your first year in an IVA the original I&E figure was probably 'padded' to make the IVA look more attractive. I know ours was and went up dramatically the second year onwards. With an income of £1443 how much are your monthly expenses?

Some say refuse to answer the security questions, then they are unable to proceed --- never tried that one myself. I used that, a lot, during the transition period at the start. "Sorry I never answer security questions over the phone, I'm sure you understand" worked brilliantly. They then stop the ...
