IPs, and rightly so is the chief messenger with a touch of advocacy in iva affairs Why? They have to be primarily neutral to gain respect of creditors and debtors....only the finest of them get nominated or win the coveted IP of the year award Analogous to the impartial 'scale of justice' of law and...

Just maximize the debt repayment as penury and honor the age old adage - 'my word is my bond'. In an iva we undertake to repay as much debt as possible. As Michael have said, a loan could be cheaper than a 4th year remortgage. Creditors are getting smart and unfortunately there is little to do to wr...

...an IP will put the best case forward to creditors...unlike solicitors that represents entirely the plaintiff's interest, an IP will look for a win win for both sides, fees are paid by creditors as iva are 'not free'; and not debtors.I like to think is the approach. I am sure there is a complaints...

good prudent judgment here lucyl...your IP is not anyone here so it is best to deal directly with your IP and not mention your iva firm here if you intend to disagree with it.A No No.

I do not recall this advice site serving as an IP scrutiny panel as well...where is the mandate...simmer down...

It is perfectly understandable that insufficient information might be given by iva firm to the iva holder in the ownership of the ppi refund remittance. In that respect it is IP and the ppi firm that is are at fault. Adminstratively, why on earth would the ppi cheque be sent and made payable to the i...

ppi refund cheques can be made payable to the account holder even if a third party company had instigated the claim. Halifax sent ME a crossed cheque for 4k refund even though the cheque should go to the IP.Of course I sent it to IP. Now did I think I could just keep it hush hush...ere No. Poor judg...

This post makes me more angry than the poster. 7 years has passed and an iva could have come and be over with and credit file restored for the person. How often do we hear that people are on dmp for donkeys years before been urged to go on an iva and with the debt been higher due to FEES and INTERES...

I don't personally know any of coppers with these insolvency problems but if you are in elite 'swat' teams of such like the ones policing riots and disturbances where you are also firearms trained, it is surely likely you will be checked regularly. At the Olympics and I was there as Gamemaker,I saw ...

I think working for the Police and with big big debts like yours(NmM), it must be over 100k by your figures; it must have been a major personal issue. Never get into debt in that line of work you are in.I am sure telling your employers must have been hard as you do not know what they will say and wh...
