Sorry to ask yet another question but I am in receipt of my chairman's report and I am confused. To recap, I had a F&F settlement agreed by creditors recently. However, in reading the modifications there is reference to: a) 4th year equity release, b) duration not exceeding 72 months, c) annual revi...

Selling endowment policies and PEP to fund my IVA. Can anyone suggest a company to sell policies on rather than selling to endowment and PEP provider. Will realise higher return for creditors through third party than direct to provider

Presumably no windfall money is payable after a F&F settlement once IVA is closed or period of IVA is over, whichever is sooner. By closed I mean all creditors have received their monies owed.

Melanie - Thanks for the advice. Some further expert help if I may. In reading my IVA it states that the proposed date of distribution duration is six months but then goes on to say that the deadline for creditors to submit their claims has been shortened to 2 months from standard 6. Further on in t...

Just received notification from my IP that my full and final IVA was approved (25p/£). Huge relief. Do not know who voted or how they voted but will presumably be clear once I receive Chairman's report. What happens once I receive the Report in terms of getting monies paid to creditors? Should have ...

I have my creditors meeting later this week. Query what happens if some creditors vote yes, some yes but with modification. Does any agreed modification apply to all the creditors or just those that asked for a modification. I assume all. I also assume that the dreaded 25% thresehold for a no vote o...

I have my creditors meeting later this month and my IP has drafted a full and final settlement, and involves me realising ALL my assets including equity in the house. The equity is being provided by a family member who will then take a charge on the property. It is a six month IVA with further 3 mon...

Reposting this as I posted to wrong forum originally. Sorry. I am new to this so apologies in advance. My wife and I have accumulated debt (all credit card debt) over the past 20 years to the region of £350K. (I know it is a huge sum and we are very embarrassed about it). For the last few years we h...
