Thanks Foggy. Is Debt Free Direct pretty on top of things do you know? I hope it happens soon. I just want to be completely free of this as it should have ended in June this year but was extended by 2 years due to a pay cut at work and lack of equity in my property.

Just had some more paperwork come through today with regards to PPI. I have been requested to sign a Deed of Assignment to allow my creditors to collect any PPI which is awarded to me after closing my IVA. I have done a little research and even after you have made your final settlement payment am I right in thinking I am still in an IVA until I get a closure certificate? If this is correct would I still need to pay any bonus payments to my IP (Debt Free Direct). Also if we were to sell our house after...

I have just completed year 5 of my IVA in June 2013. My IVA should have completed then but as I had to reduce my payments back in 2010 due to a salary reduction my IVA was extended by 12 months. Then because I did not have enough equity in my property it was extended by a further 12 months. My IVA i...

The letter doesn't state yet I'm going to have the extension yet but does indicate they are looking at doing it. I will contact my IP and take it from there. My main question was extending the IVA for an extra year seeing as it's already been extended by 12 months due to the reduction in my salary. ...

The agreement states...'Where the debtor is unable to obtain a remortgage the IVA should instead be extended by up to 12 months.' As I had already extended by 12 months due to a pay cut and subsequently reducing my payments each month to make up for the shortfall I was unsure whether the IVA could b...

I am currently in year 4 of my IVA which was agreed to in June 2008. As I am coming close to the end of my IVA I have been requested to give in info about remortgaging which A) there is no equity and B) it is a joint mortgage. As my IP is saying I cannot remortgage I will need to extend by 12months....
